Karen George started riding when she was 8 years old and has been involved in horse sport at the highest level ever since.
Karen is the daughter of Professor Frank H George a pre eminent scientist and NATO advisor professor of cybernetics mathmatics and philosophy.
Upon leaving school Karen enbarked on a top level international show jumping career, training in the Uk with olympic medalist Peter Robeson who was also heavily involved with racing, his wife Renee was a hugely experienced and successful trainer.
Karen then spent 6 years in Germany with 5 times olympic gold medalist Hans Gunter Winkler the most successful show jumper of all time. Karen's interest in racing continued to grow and after having horses in training with such well respected names as Tim Thompson Jones and Peter Cundell she decided to begin her training career in the late 1980's, her first runner Rehearsing was a winner.
Karen has grown a name that is hugely respected in the industry, a consistant strike rate, improving horses and producing young horses, from sprinters to 3 mile chasers.
